getid_linux error (solved)

Discussion in 'Licensing and activation' started by Gatsby, May 30, 2017.

  1. Hi,

I'm new to MuJoCo and linux. After getting a student account number, I downloaded the executable "getid_linux" to register my computer.
However, when I run "sh getid_linux" in the terminal, I got the following error message:

    getid_linux: 1: getid_linux: ELF: not found
    getid_linux: 2: getid_linux: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

I first tried to run the executable using "./getid_linux" but it didn't work.

My system is Ubuntu 14.04 on lenovo X230. I will really appreciate if someone could help me with this.

It is an executable, not a shell script. Maybe you need to set the executed permission with chmod?
  3. Thank you so much Todorov. Problem sovled.
